Crime Report
Special Constable Sarah Goodman is unable to write for us in this month's issue, as she has been concentrating on her imminent marriage, congratulations to both Sarah and her husband.
This month we will go over past advice given by both Pc Terry Canadine and Sarah about he prevention of crime, especially with summer holidays and people doing more outdoors in their gardens.
Obviously, when neighbours are away we are more observant about people who visit their houses. If you see anything suspicious please call the police.
The sneak-in thief has a birthday at this time of year, when people leave their doors open or unlocked while they are enjoying the good weather or while they in the garden.
These people only need a few seconds to go into your home and steel your valuables. Please be aware and careful.
Lock your sheds and garages securely as this is the time of year when lawnmowers, garden implements and sports equipment thefts increase.
Garden furniture in your garden? Put it away or out of sight in the evening or get it alarmed. These items are easy for thieves to steal and will be easy to sell on at this time of year.
Don't give thieves the opportunity to ruin you summer. Make life hard for them and hopefully, they won't bother you.
